Earlier this week, the Oceanside Planning Commission approved a proposal to develop a 268-unit mixed-use development in the El Corazon Specific Plan Area.

Sudberry Properties, the project applicant, proposed to develop a mixed-use project with 268 apartment units within 22 three-story buildings and 4,724 square feet (SF) of integrated commercial space on a 12.09-acre site. The project site is located on the northeast corner of senior center drive and village commercial drive in the central portion of Oceanside.

The buildings would consist of a mixture of 7, 12 and 14 plex apartment buildings. The commercial space would be located in the two 7 plex buildings. The apartment units will range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom units and from 691 SF to 1,440 SF.
