Environmental Assessment Released For 6-Story, 69-Unit Apartment Complex in Los Angeles

Earlier this week, the City of Los Angeles released a Mitigated Negative Declaration for a proposed residential complex in Westlake.
The project proposed by Urban Stearns would construct a 6-story building over a partially subterranean garage containing 30 two-bedroom apartments, 20 one-bedroom apartments, and 19 studio apartments. The project also includes a minimum of 50 vehicle parking spaces, 61 bicycle parking spaces, and 7,650 square feet of open space.
Proposed amenities will include a rec room, a podium deck, private open space balconies, a landscaped roof deck, and a separate rooftop deck.

As part of the project, a minimum of 8% (six units) of the total dwelling units will be rent-restricted for Extremely Low-Income Households, in accordance with a local land-use covenant recorded with the Housing and Community Investment Department of Los Angeles (HCIDLA).
