5-Story, 32-Unit Mixed-Use Project in Pacific Palisades Heads to LA Planning Commission

On August 27th, the Los Angeles Planning Commission will consider a proposal to demolish a vacant commercial structure and construct a 5-story, 32,225 square-foot, mixed-use building with 32 dwelling units and 2,900 square feet of ground-floor commercial uses. 

Located at 17346 West Sunset Boulevard, California Food Managers, LLC – an entity linked to Beverly Hills investors Michael Aminpour, Dan Ashoori, and Jack Farshi plans to restrict four dwelling units for Very Low-Income Households, in exchange for a density bonus and several other incentives.

The building will be 60-feet 9-inches tall and contain 49 parking spaces underground, at grade, and above grade. The residential product mix will consist of studio, one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 470 square feet to 920 square feet. 67 bicycle stalls will be provided on-site, and there will be four commercial tenant spaces on the ground floor.

A total of 4,0006 square feet of open space will be provided between the three rooftop deck areas and the balconies.

Farzin Maly is the architect responsible for the building’s design, which would consist of a contemporary building with elements such as glass railing, brick veneer, stucco, and concrete panels.
