Last week, the Mission Viejo City Council approved a proposal by Trumark Homes to construct 91 for-sale condominium units at a 6.36-acre site located on El Toro Road, between Marguerite Parkway and the State Route 241 Toll Road.

The proposed units will be clustered in a total of 10 buildings, with 7, 10, or 11 units in each building. All ten multi-plex buildings will be three stories with a maximum height of 38 feet. Dwelling units will be proposed in seven different floor plans ranging in size from 864 square feet up to 1,956 square feet, and ranging from one bedroom up to three bedrooms.

Each dwelling unit will have two dedicated parking spaces for a total of 182 resident parking spaces. Trumark Homes will also include 42 guest parking spaces for a grand total of 224 on-site parking spaces.

Multiple common-area amenities throughout the site will also be included such as a recreation area with swimming pool, spa and seating/lounging areas, a tot-lot area, a small bluff-top park area, an open trellis seating area, and a paseo located between two front-facing buildings.

WHA will deliver an architectural style influenced by Mission Viejo’s Andalusian and Spanish aesthetic, with a “straightforward” design that is softened with a calm color palette and “pops” of accent color and architectural details. The project incorporates stone veneer accent on the walls, S-tile roofing material, metal balcony railings, paneled front and garage doors, and architectural details such as decorative vents and shutters.
