350 Homes Planned in the City of Colton

Last week, the City of Colton announced it will prepare a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for a 350-home residential community. 

The project site is approximately 209.4 acres surrounded by open space and hillsides to the north, east, and south, and residential development to the West.

The project, proposed by University Realty, LLC, would consist of 81.2 acres of detached single-family residential homes, and 121.7 acres of recreational trails and active and passive open space, and a 6.5-acre stormwater detention facility.

The project’s proposal includes the adoption of the Rancho Del Prado Specific Plan.

The city will hold a scoping meeting via Zoom on January 13, at 6:00pm to solicit feedback on for preparation of the EIR.
