The Anaheim City Council voted on June 9th to approve a 115-unit attached single-family residential project at the Northeast corner of Euclid Street and Lincoln Avenue.

The proposed development from Shopoff Realty Investments would consist of 27 buildings with 3- to 5- units per building. It will have 30 two-bedroom units and 85 three-bedroom units, all of which will include a 2-car parking garage on the first floor.

The 7.17-acre project site consists of four contiguous parcels, two of which are city-owned. The Southern Pacific Railroad, the I-5 freeway, and various industrial and commercial uses surround the site, which would be redesignated from General Commercial to Mid-Density Residential in the City’s General Plan. The proposed project would have a density of 16 residential units per acre.

The project designed by JZMK Partners includes 49,078 square feet of recreational space. The common recreational areas of the residential developments would contain a courtyard, a pool, spa, a club room, a barbeque area, picnic tables, benches, lawn games, and a fire pit area, among other amenities.

In lieu of providing any affordable units in the project, Shopoff Realty Investments will voluntarily contribute $115,000 to the City of Anaheim for its various affordable housing programs.
